Yea! Its also important to work on things that are low-stakes if possible. It's asking for trouble if you try and force this with commissions or gifts unless you just know you are built different.

I have always found that setting just an hour a day of forced effort to make yourself push a little through eventually gets you over the hump.

That or just let yourself work on a form of art that you can crank out without brainpower or something self-indulgent.
