My favourite game of all time, Shenmue 2, reaches its 24th anniversary today.

Available on #Dreamcast, #OGXbox and rereleased as Shenmue HD for #PlayStation, #Xbox and #Steam, this is a true classic that every gamer owes it to themselves to try 🐉 🐦‍🔥

@sega-west.bsky.social there’s no reason why you can’t brand Shenmue alongside Like A Dragon, Judgement and Stranger Than Heaven. Just remake the first two and market them as a slower, more thoughtful, meaningful and cosier version of LaD.

It could easily be a million plus seller, if done right 🙏

Yes, although the story is huge, it’s told over a series of games.

It’s quite a relaxing game series most of the time. Gradually working through tasks, getting to know the locals, levelling up to prepare for the action sections and soaking up the atmosphere.

The fans need to fully back Shenmue 3 Enhanced edition and pester all our friends to play the game.
