Here are this morning’s drawings. When I woke up, my blood sugar was high, so I had to walk. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I saw this market that I rarely go to, and started drawing. Soon as I finished the first picture, I needed to find the market’s name. Then another picture quickly appeared!

Here are this morning’s drawings. When I woke up, my blood sugar was high, so I had to walk. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I saw this market that I rarely go to, and started drawing. Soon as I finished the first picture, I needed to find the market’s name. Then another picture quickly appeared!
Today, due to the rain, the urban sketchers meeting location changed. Also due to the rain, I couldn’t ride my bike! So I had to take the subway.
Recently, the instances of me drawing people have been rare. So while riding downtown today, my inspiration became obvious: people!

Today was like yesterday. But unlike yesterday, it involved LESS bike riding. All I had to do was go to the zoo. Granted, my legs aren’t happy with me, but when you become a diabetic, you soon learn how to ignore your body’s warnings. (“This is my ride, you cannot commandeer it.”)

이건 어젯밤의 하이에나 그림을 끝날 지도 몰라요. 어제 우치의 새들이 그려고 싶지 않았지만 하이에나와 스라소니도 포즈한걸 행복했어요.

I don’t know when the last time I was this excited was. (Okay, likely a couple weeks ago.) Although this monkey would only occasionally turn its head towards me, whenever I saw the sketch I was trying to pull together, I got excited.

이건 어젯밤의 새가였어요. 수채화로 사용할때마다 어떻게 색갈 만든걸 몰라서 그 경험은 항상 즐거워요.

매년 더 어려운 그걸 노력할것이 좋아요. 작년 펭퀸과 물개 그림을 그리기 시작했어요. 그리고 어반스케치도! 올해 몇주전부터 그릴때마다 수채화로 사용학로 노력행요.

Today’s urban sketchers’ meeting was at Gwangju’ Confucius School. Luckily a few weeks ago we had our meeting at a place tha had some hanoks. So I had already practiced the structure. Naturally, however, after I started drawing the entrance I realized that it was too big for the hanok’s best part.

어제의 그림에 대해 아직 불행해서 오늘 오전에 다른 동물의 모양을 그려 본것 겉아요. 어제처럼 비슷한떼 이 단계에 이 그림에 대해 만족한것 겉어요.

I wasn’t happy about this bird last night. The parts looked right, but also wrong. I finished it, but it was an ugly oval. So when I woke up this morning, I decided to add color. And that changed everything.

강진에서 쉬는 동안 이 작은 앵무새를 그리기로 마음 먹었오요. 이제 전주에 제일 좋은 중 하나 카페에 있고 그림을 끝나고 싶지만 이 커피도 끝나고 싶고 버스 터미널에 빨리 가고 싶어요.

또다른 새의 그림이에요! 그럼에도 불구하고 이 새는 매예요. 지난일요일에 제가 이 매를 전주동물원에서 보자 마자 그리고 싶었지만 불행히 충분한 시간을 없었어요. 오늘 오전에 시간을 마침내 가지고 있었어요.

Meeting at a new cafe today. 15 minutes ago, I watched a video with daily drawing ideas. Before going to an urban sketchers meeting (I was alreadylate), I found this Animal Encyclopedia. Bought it to practice Korean reading, and now it will provide me with a new animal to base daily sketches off of.

Bought it to practice Korean reading, and now it will provide me with a new animal to base daily sketches off of.
지난주말에 동안 내내 이 드로잉 책을 가지고 다니지만 한번도에 절대로 이용하지 않았어요. 그래서 이 스케치북을 끝나려고 그걸 할 거예요.

I was really busy this weekend. More than usual. First, while riding the buses (both to Jeonju and then Gwangju) I sketched the other passengers. Then I had bibimbab waffles for lunch. This time I tried to draw the waffles themselves. Then I went to another cafe for a final round of drawing.

Long time, no post! So this first post was from last Thursday. Before meeting my friend, I had to go to the zoo to draw. The next is from that night. Sunday was when I met the jaguar. The elephant is from last night. And the final pic was made while riding to Jeonju this morning.
