True story: One day I casually came up with a better name for Forbidden Fruthulhu, and I said to myself "I must write that down in a notepad file when I get back to the computer". And when I did, I'd forgotten it. I've no idea what it was, and I can't imagine how it could've been better. Maddening.

That Turtles show was good, wasn't it? Not much else to say here besides "this woman only actually showed up once, not even seeing reuse as a background character".

I can't really refer to these as "prompts" anymore, can I? That word primarily refers to something else now! What's another word for prompt? "Mnemonic"? Am I gonna have to start calling these mnemonics??

I'll post these two together because they're thematically similar, and I still like them both. I did some very similar plant designs for *something*, hopefully you'll be able to see that soon.

Another game project, I did 30 or more of these for it, but the vast majority weren't ever shown off. I'm not sure what the actual status of the game is currently. I won't be showing off the concept sketches, but the godzilla guy yanks more swords out of his head if he loses the one he's holding.

This game's development is on hiatus at the moment, and I didn't know this version of the artwork was in circulation, but someone @'d me with it on twitter a while ago so I guess it was shown off at some point unbeknownst to myself. Anyway here's some more previously unseen work, sort of, partially.

I wish I'd had the foresight to put all the foreground badniks on different layers so I could've given all of them seperate drop shadows, but otherwise was very happy with this.
Anyway who wants to hear my conspiracy theory that the grasshopper badnik was surely just a modified Scratch model sheet?

Another previously unseen image! This was for another game project, but as the conversation continued it became evident it was less of a game project and more of an NFT project and I slammed on the brakes as quickly as I could. Nothing else was produced for this.

Funny story about this: when we were about to post these, it was discovered that nobody on hand knew what the Studio Meala website font actually was. We had to use a reverse font search, and this one was the closest. It's probably the right font. Probably. ... Also I like the little painting I did.
