Timing was everything with this album; released in late 1967, it sent the psychedelic bandwagon off the cliff. But it was a batch of dreary songs with none of Dylan's trademark wit. "All Along The Watchtower" is one of his finest songs, but the rest were mediocre.

I was just listening to Lovelyville this week! This band truly created something strange and original.
