I have always wondered why they consider this a flex. Ummm, yes, all predators should be rotting in jail. When you don’t view a political leader as a god, then that’s a pretty easy viewpoint. They. Work. For. Us. Where did we lose this concept?

One of the most disturbing things during COVID for me was having to tell a mother that her 9 year old daughter, who was in perfect health two days before admission with rapidly evolving MIS-C had no brainstem reflexes and no cortical activity on eeg. Potato-Potahto, I guess.

Pediatric neurologist here. The population at highest risk for the progressive and fatal sequela, SSPE, is infants and children under the age of 3 (those who cannot be fully vaccinated). A hypothetical board review question is now a reality in the US.
