The day is not done yet. A few reports of structure fires too. Around 3 times the size of the LA fires. Thankfully not the same population base!

I hated the admin role I was assigned in fire management, so did what I could to sit with the other mappers because that was the most interesting. 18 years later I am a Geospatial Analyst full time in a fire service!
