I watched downton abbey and all subsequent movies when I was shan with covid a year or 2 ago. Loved it.
Then led me straight to the gilded age.
A nice boring-ish show done well is captivating.

Whats the end game with the epstein files release? Will ANYTHING substantial actually come of it? I know it *should* but these days what should be happening, rarely happens. Trying to set my expectations accordingly.

Was the "investigation into democrats in the Ep files" a last ditch effort to keep the files under wraps since evidence to a current investigation would not be able to be releases? If files released would it really matter with trump admin immediately or would this be another "wait til midterms"?

What can stop these ICE raids and the imprisonment and inhumane treatment of innocent people? How are other countries (as well as our own country) not sounding every alarm over the notion that feeding people to alligators is an acceptable thing to do?
