It's still #WomensHistoryMonth. Out of 146 who died in the Triangle fire, 123 were women as young as 14 years old. We're facing the present dismantling of so many things that were paid for in blood. From child labor to the barest building compliance & worker safety, it's all on the line again.

I’m glad I stepped outside the house and forced myself to do everything I needed to do.

The biggest act of kindness which helped me through my day was the (non-alcoholic) bar tender at Club Seltzer. Their machines were down, so she couldn’t accept payment, but she made me a drink anyway 🥹 I failed to mention it to her, but that alone saved my day ❤️

Strangers in the elevator wishing me a good day. The store cashier who was polite helped me with a smile, leaving her post to help me find something. (Thankfully there wasn’t a line at the cashier or anything)

Do you keep lactaid pills/tablets with you? I try not to leave home without it 😅

For background: I purchased the first run of Junos, excited for a pair of snow boots which i could just step into. I didn't get a chance to use them until this past Dec when we went to the snow in Leavenworth. We were only there for 2 days (so I only wore them for 2 days), and my feet were soaked!
