Mom of two spectacular adults. Gee to an amazing teen. Loving wife. Humane human. Always striving for positive impact.
The gravity and sadness of this situation is truly sickening. The lack of humanity scorches my heart. I wish I knew what to do.

Really love this story for lots of reasons. Young scientists’ grass roots effort. Rise up scholars. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/16/s...

Such a sordid tale. It’s hard to imagine how we can break this cycle of corruption. Great reporting here.
President Trump pardoned a man sentenced for tax crimes after his mother went to a $1 million-per-plate dinner at Mar-a-Lago. His pardon application cited his mother’s support for the president, including raising millions of dollars and a connection to a plot to publicize a Biden family diary.

Despite promises of cuts from Trump and Elon, the U.S. spent about $220 billion more in the first 100 days than it did last year. We’re spending far more and getting far less. So where is all the money going?

Feeling proud of ‘my boyfriend’, Cory Booker. He spoke for 25 hours straight yesterday and today to break the filibuster record of SC Senator, Strom Thurmond who spoke for 24 hours straight to protest the passage of civil rights legislation. Glorious irony! 😊💕

Corruption in bright sunlight. This guy makes big donations, gets a pardon and oh yeah, he was represented by the AG’s brother. Can we raise the awareness of what they’re doing in plain sight? x.com/thetnholler/...

This makes it all so clear. They were writing the executive orders last fall. This explains the rapid fire assault on our culture and our senses.
NEW: In October, we published secret recordings of Russell Vought discussing plans to eviscerate entire agencies and decimate the morale of federal workers if Trump won a second term.

It's hard to imagine a more prescient piece of journalism, our editor-in-chief @sengelberg.bsky.social writes.
The October Story That Outlined Exactly What the Trump Administration Would Do to the Federal Bureaucracy
Historians have hindsight when they look into the past; journalists have the facts on the ground and context to help them look ahead. That means we can sometimes be surprised by how prescient a story ...

Kendrick Lamar showed more courage in the face of rising American tyranny than we’ve seen from ANY former American leader. If you swore an oath to protect this nation, where are you now?
