“Dispatches from the Sacred Grocery” is about finding something sacred in the ordinary, from neon lights and freezer doors to the quiet space between errands.
If it lands, share it.

I saw the Kanye ad yesterday (it aired in the Philly market, where we were) but didn't click on the link.

Today I found out it went to a website selling swastika T-shirts.

This was a Superbowl ad.

And it was to a website selling swastika T-shirts.

I feel like I'm losing my mind.

Everything in my bones is saying hunker down and hold on. It’s about to get wild.

There’s a silent coup happening right in front of our faces and too many are being willfully ignorant or not paying attention at all.

This is the worst book I’ve ever read and you should read it. These stories echo current life & twisted into plausible horror.
Amber’s Son, It Was Just Another Day in America, & The Termination Bureau were a solid knee to ribs.
It’s a gross reminder of what happens when all humanity is gone.

It’s not often a short story elicits a true emotional response but “A Million Times Over Again” in the book “A Crumbling of a Nation and Other Short Stories” had me in tears (in a good way). I’ll likely blaze through this book before the end of the week. #books #reading #shortstories #booksky

I was dead serious when I said I was beginning to work on writing a book. I’m rereading “The Hero with a Thousand Faces” to refresh my memory on the great monomyth and the hero’s journey.
