Martin and I just got together in Munich a couple of weeks ago. (I'm now back in NJ, and working on the TM in California book.) I also finished translating a new biography of Hannah Arendt, by Thomas Meyer, which Penguin will publish next year.

Shana tovah, Gil! I *just* discovered that you did a wonderful podcast with Martin Mittelmeier about his NAPLES 1925 book, in my translation! Terrific! I'm now translating Martin's new book, HEIMWEH IM PARADIES (Homesickness in Paradise) about Thomas Mann in California, for Princeton Univ. Press.
