Peace
Hard to film but today this Stellar Jay seemed to be hungry and didn't bolt as I pulled out my phone. 🪶

The wild turkeys did stick around a bit after I startled them. There are actually three in the yard because our guard dogs are fast asleep inside. It was a great way to start the day and I wish you all a great day as well. These turkeys too 🪶

It has been cold but we turned the heat on last night and now Weed is out for a quick bite of miners lettuce and then probably going to head back to hibernate a bit more. She is always lovely to see but not really awake until spring.

Sitting outside by the bird bath and feeder, wondering why there are almost no visitors at the moment. Then I noticed a beautiful hawk perched half a block away. Not long after the mate arrived. Too far for a good phone picture but a great sight with binoculars. 🪶

I'll be honest, there have been some amazing birds at the birdbath but I have selfishly not reached for my camera and instead enjoyed the view without sharing. These little guys are regulars and are not terribly scared of me, so enjoy their antics 🪶

Certainly not a great picture, but seeing wild turkeys walk by your fence while you're sipping your first morning coffee is a good way to wake and meet the day.

I think the poodle puppies melted together in the warm morning sun. 🐩

Close up view of the bird bath but it's on the other side of the window so indoor noises coupled with a beautiful outdoor scene.

The puppy just got back from being groomed. I would fire the groomer except it's me who didn't notice that the comb had fallen off the razor so Wednesday has got a very odd and ill-placed strip of nearly bare flesh. So sad. #Leavethegroomingtothegroomers

Nature's camouflage. If Weed doesn't move she is hard to find. 🐢

Weed was getting a little hangry, so indoor food had to be brought out as a treat while she runs wild in our garden. 🐢

A fast mover having breakfast. Usually hard to get a picture of. First time I was able to get a picture of this Western Scrub-Jay., at the feeder.
