Do the right thing and actually look out for military spouses. I am a household manager that makes my husband go in and out if his military service seemlessly.

It’s like the old question, “What qualifies as a veteran” same for “who qualifies as a spouse”
I’m telling you. They all qualify. We ALL qualify. Tell me about our 24 years of service as a family.. that I’m not enough of a military spouse 🤬

2. Spouses of 100% connected veterans are exempted but (only if A,B, & C 👎) not the 100% veteran?!!? Again, sounds like a good marketing plan to say we are exempting spouses but supporting very few 🤪

1. Military spouses are currently exempt from RTO for federal employment. Sounds good right? Well, this is an extremely narrow policy, excluding most National Guard Spouses with so many hoops and gotchas for all types-it’s atrocious.

I think it also depends on the age group of veterans, most of my veteran friends don’t go to the VA (yet!) In this area it is an older population. I’m hearing people are over it. I think screwing with federal jobs piece, really hits home.

As a veteran who gets her care with the VA I’m concerned. Less staff means less people to do the work. I don’t want someone taking who is over burdened, stressed out, worried about their future. I want VA staff who are happy, well taken care of, because I know that is how I will get the best care.
