I am heart-broken that the Mets are out of the playoffs. And I'm sad that there isn't easy tennis watching until January. (I do not watch Tennis Channel due to their corporate ownership.)
But, damn, I'm going to be so productive for a couple of months, finally! Whoohoo!

Comparing tzimmes recipes (my contribution to a Rosh Hashanah meal) and seeing so much honey replaced by brown sugar in "traditional' Jewish recipes.

I figured out what bothers me so much about Sabalenka. Obviously, she is completely deserving of her ranking. But, she's so stupid both on and off social media and she is so rude that in interviews she calls her opponents only "she", not by name. #wimbledon #tennis

That's some first set. On to the tie break. I like it when Sabalenka loses. At this point, talent notwithstanding, her unprofessionalism is bad for the sport. (I feel the same way about Zverev, the credibly accused abuser, and Kyrgios, with more narcissistic wounds than tattoos.) #Wimbledon

I think Adidas has nailed it. I also think the dress code permitting mid/dark colored shorts is something all the women should incorporate in their kits whether or not they're menstruating. The contrasting color looks nice. (See Adidas Green on Svitolina) #wimbledon #tennis
