There are puppies at my house! I participate in breed preservation of Japanese Kai Ken. Two of my five are headed off to other breeders, two will be placed locally, and one is staying with me.
Thanks to our intervention Kai are gaining popularity even in Japan .

Rearranged the furniture to get ready for puppies. Will be headed to Portland next week to introduce Minx to a Kai boy.
Still a lot of tidying to do and the desk needs to move to the other end of the room.

The day I met my last little shiba girl, Memegh. We had a wonderful 11 years together. She was such a sweet girl and very much missed.

The canine containment unit is up and ready for letting puppies take their first steps outdoors. No puppies onboard yet, but soon we’ll have to make a fast trip to Portland.
