You should never underestimate the youngest. Resilience with humour and a ‘take no prisoners’ je ne sais quoi.

I was lucky enough to have one of my favourite lunches at a flower market this past Friday - Mushroom Cream Toast. Had a good, relaxing week. But life, as we all know, can be persnickety. The tide changes constantly.

27 years today. I know most people write the flowery captions for this - he definitely would. But I think the funniest explanation I heard for long marriages came from a friend's colleague on their 40th. "We both never wanted to leave each other at the same time."
