The caryatid at Elefsina. I love the caryatids from the Acropolis in Athens, but this one is a real beauty. One of two that stood at the entrance to the Sanctuary at Elefsina.

Saw this yesterday, great documentary by Sinéad O'Shea. Ireland in the 1950's and 60's was a tough place for women. Fascinating story skillfully made. Well worth seeing.

I'm not sure what the year in question was, but in 1974 it was 90p to see Thin Lizzy and £1 to see Horslips!!! And that included supper and a bar extention.
