I called Jasmine Crocketts office today! So excited! Her staff actually answered the phone. I could hear the lady typing everything I was saying. I expressed my horror about Elon. She told me that the priority for most legislators right now is to address the constitutional issues.

I think I am the only Dem at my place of employment. Politics is just not discussed at all. I’d like to think that my peers are not the extreme hateful Right. Just as I’m not extreme hateful Left. Confident we could have good conversation! :)

There was a time when the left and right could have rigorous and healthy debate. Respectfully agreeing to disagree. It wasn’t until Trump that being ugly and cruel became the norm. This has me baffled. Prime example…the bipartisan border bill... and then Trump said no. How do you work with that?

I think everyone, even his supporters, agree that murder is wrong. The overwhelming sentiment is that almost everyone feels the same frustration with insurance. The average person will not murder another person, but, omg, have we felt like it!

I don’t understand why, at this point, ALL street festivals and events like this aren’t blocked off by moveable cement barricades. Pain in the butt….worth it.

It blows my mind that MAGA citizens don’t seem to understand “precedent.” If their guy can do it (whatever IT is), someone else can do it later.
