Pretty common too for artists to be older than their fans since they’re grown while their fans are teenagers. Bad Bunny is a millennial, for example. Adam Levine is Gen X, etc

Remember, Millennials go all the way back to 1980. Eminem is definitely a defining artist for older millennials. Blige and Snoop were at the peak of their powers in the late 90s, when tons of millennials were between 12-18
