I wonder how much money Leonardo da Vinci could have raised on Kickstarter. He seems like the kind of guy who would have had some stuff going on there.

Broke the shower diverter in our tub yesterday and had to install a new tub faucet. Plumbing is actually very cool. Highly recommend taking things apart in your bathroom.

What if ancient Greece was actually super heteronormative, and all of the gay romance stuff that we've found was just people engraving horny fanfics about their favorite philosophers onto stone tablets or something.

Thinking about opening a store that sells bagels, but is only open at night. I'm tired of morning people buying all of the everything bagels while I sleep in. Night owls shouldn't have to settle for only having plain bagels available.

Most modern forms of electricity come down to "find some rocks, use them to make water really hot, and then spin a turbine with it". That's cool, but we can do better. Have any scientists thought about inventing a new rock, or a new liquid or something?
