Having a real “you reap what you sow” moment. During peak pandemic years I got my then-toddler involved in regrowing scallions, garlic, and other alliums. She’s now 8, and won’t let me throw away ANYTHING that we can potentially regrow.
Our kitchen has many versions of this:

After years of telling my kids not to leave food in the car, (and getting some pretty epic eye rolls), we spotted a bear today on the banks of the Truckee river.

“Oh my god, you were right! There ARE bears here…” has never sounded so good.

Really interesting to see this (seemingly) coordinated PR push by Meta/Facebook folks against a new memoir written by a former Facebooker. Most of the focus is on pushing back against her claims re Joel Kaplan, a senior executive with close ties to Brett Kavanaugh.

Today, Sheryl Sandberg posted about the death of Cecile Richards, former head of Planned parenthood.

Mark Zuckerberg posted he was “optimistic and celebrating” alongside a photo of him and his wife attending Trump’s inauguration celebration in DC.

TikTok didn’t wait until the midnight deadline to shut down for users in the US. Instead, Americans were shown a message which indicated that TikTok expects to working with incoming President Trump to be quickly reinstated.

Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg had their PR people coordinate this exchange, (in case you were wondering).

Sheryl Sandberg became a household name because of Lean In, her manifesto about women in the workplace.

How can she not respond to Mark Zuckerberg not just doing away with DEI, but blaming her for it in a conversation with Trump?

I spent years talking to people close to Sheryl Sandberg. She always knew who Mark Zuckerberg and covered for him. The question is whether she will continue to do so when he so blatantly throws her under the (Trump) bus:
