I think I’d rather take my chances in the original Five Points.

Five Points? Like the Italian slums Mother Cabrini tried to fix? I thought that was in NYC?

This entire street feels like a hipster purgatory. I don’t think I’ll ever understand big cities.

Paddy is long-accepted for the day. Miriam Webster even mentions it as being a valid name for the day (and weirdly enough quotes the Buffalo News). www.merriam-webster.com/wordplay/st-....
Is it 'St. Patty's Day' or 'St. Paddy's Day'?

Because it *is* Paddy. “Patty” is short for Patricia: “Paddy” comes from Pádraig.
Actually learned this at an Irish trivia event.

A St. Patrick's Day public service announcement - It's "Paddy, Not Patty"!
When shortening the phrase "St. Patrick’s Day," many people erroneously turn to ‘Patty’ instead of ‘Paddy’ to replace the Patrick. No more!
