The behavior i see in some of the videos makes it clear in my mind that many of the ICE officers are not trained and certified law enforcement officers. Probably contractors with minimal training. They can and should be stopped by local LE and potentially taken into custody.

Democrats are not messaging well on this. They need to be much louder that under current federal law, undocumented persons are not eligible for most federal assistance. And literally, nobody is looking to change that.

agreed. i have seen too many of my former co-workers retire, resign, or just go to sleep on the job instead of taking a stand.

i have had the privilege of working with some outstanding professionals when i was at DHS. Well trained and honored to serve the people of our nation. I was part of a national incident management team and job one was to protect and serve the public. Sadly, some get co-opted by politics and power.

sadly, that is true in some cases. There are many of us, however, that hold ourselves to higher standards. Service is an honor.

As a former federal agent (DHS), watching the actions that these thugs are taking gives me pause. In many cases, I do not believe they are real law enforcement officers.
