At school I was 'Kev' to peers & several teachers - I still see my old PE teacher and he always greets me as 'Kev'. My best friend calls me 'Sandy'. At snooker I am 'The Duke of York', an increasingly unfortunate moniker. Youngest son's friends refer to me as 'Big Al' (but not to my face).
