A Martin but made in The Netherlands in the 1970’s A loveley guitar that sounds good when recorded and it gets a lot of use when I’m writing songs in my shed

It’s a dogs bowl, a sink drain and the handle from a kitchen cabinet but it plays ok and is quiet enough that I can write songs on it when sensible folks are asleep #songwriting #guitar

Dont disagree but its worth recognising that the fact that The Beatles did not represent any existing American “tribe” they were able to be adopted by more kids paving the way (for better or worse) for the Woodstock generation

I was on holiday walking past a church in Cork when I saw a sign saying there was a stall inside manned by legendary music photographer Fin Costello A bloke at the door noting my interest told me that Costello was a really lovely man and that he had some great stories to tell
