Both my husband and I have had it with only mild impacts. Tired and sore arm but that’s it.

Like you I do @v-eee-a” for the train and “v-eye-a” for everything else. And I never thought about how odd that was before.

This was always my dream car. My birth year too!

Not a cannabis expert but for other garden situations I just spray them with regular water. It blows them off pretty easy

Moms are the connections that hold families together so it is easy understand how you are feeling. Sorry for your loss

When I was pregnant with my youngest I joined an online baby group on a fertility site I had been using of women with the same due date. The group migrated to Facebook after the babies were born. 15 years later I consider most of them my friends and I love watching those kids grow.

It has been a decidedly weird garden year. I normally have great tomatoes and they are not so far this year. But some crops I struggle with historically are doing greatz

That is a pretty black and white take. It is reasonable to point out that trade deadline success is also not an easy or guaranteed thing for a team like the Jets.

Me too but I got lucky on the last try. Frustrating

They are not doing an awards show this year. They have chosen to go with these ‘surprise’ video reveals instead.

I would suggest it is more nuanced than that but clearly you don’t. Carry on!

That isn't always practical from a cost perspective. We are personally avoiding non work travel US but I am aware of people in situations that are really tough.

You do have to remember some Canadians have close friends and family in the US. My husband’s Winnipeg based company has a US branch and he supervises staff there and goes quarterly. Some travel is difficult to avoid and disgust is a strong word

One thing that worked with my dog was to reward her every time she got distracted. Distraction, say yes, give treat. Eventually they start looking for the treat instead of following the distraction. Then you can start to direct to positive behavior and reward that.

I tried them with my older dog and they were only ever a temporary solution. I think you have to get to the behavioral cause and convince the dog there is a better behavior that will be rewarded.

Yippy not tippy
May 27, 2025 at 4:29 PM
I recently did reactivity training with my tippy but friendly girl. It was good learning to understand what is going on with her and I was taught some techniques which wouldn't have been intuitive for me. She is still a work in progress but I am seeing improvements. It requires a lot if consistency.

Almost every Western civilization is trying to increase their birth rates to be fair. Lots of things wrong with the US but this might not be so unusual

I wish it hadn’t been on a night when my own soccer player had a game or we would have been there!

Sad news. He coached my oldest son.

Yes it is and yes it does.

I have been reading articles on TSN and The Athletic. Is that not mainstream?

The provincial government made a funding announcement related to the problem, most were wearing red dress pins in the legislature, and Kinew attended a rally. What specifically were you looking for?
