What happened to you is inexcusable! What happened to you is very much like what happens in autocratic or countries run by a dictator. I guess the one good thing is that nothing more was done than getting fired.

In due time, tRuMp will declare Environmental Science as "woke" education indocrinating our children to believe greenhouse gases hurts or kills us. Then he will probably sue any school or college that teach E.S., and have the books about E.S. removed from libraries.

They can afford the risk. Alot of us, especially retirees or near retirees are hesitant to invest in something that's still fairly new.

What I can't understand is why didn't the POTUS or the GOP just petition NPR/PBS to allow their POV to be heard on their stations? Maybe in interviews/ roundtable discussions, etc? Maybe more GOPs should have donated to these stations, since these stations are supported by "listeners/viewers"?

Don't hold your breath on SCdoing anything right for the public in general. The conservative majority portion is owned by POTUS, in entirety! They seem to be doing his bidding most of the time!

The bottom line to all of these draconian policies is to make immigrants and their families feel so unwanted by our government that they will leave our country and either go back to their original country or somewhere else, and to discourage anyone else to come.

I've been petsitting several cats for last two weeks (3 in one household, 1 in another). Just like our children, each one has unique personalities. It's been fun.

Jayne, it's really not about killing green energy because Trump doesn't like it, or think windmills causes brain cancer, etc. It's about keeping his rich oil barons friends happy because they helped to get him reelected.

I'm finding the older I get, the less I can focus on anything that takes long than a minute to read. When it comes to recipes or instructions, I take notes as I'm reading through, and simplify the instructions or recipe.
As someone else said, ingredients in recipes can be used as suggestions.

BTW, I saw your plug for a certain facial sunscreen. I bought it, and am very happy with it. I have very dry skin, so I was hesitant, but it's does dry out my face, just feel dry on my face. So much nicer than greasy, oily, or gloppy!

It is frustrating! As a dogwalker in 5he suburbs, it's hard to find shady roads to walk the dogs on these dreadfully hot days. So many of the home owners are opting for tree free front lawns, which means the roads and sidewalks in front of their homes are subjected to hot sun all day every day!

A lot of people don't recognize the many benefits to having trees on their properties. They only see the downside of raking leaves in the fall, or picking up downed branches after a storm, but never the good things.
