Yeah, 112 samples. At least 40 of which are multi samples. And they have to sound close to the set in the hardware in terms of dynamics, fidelity and timbre so I have to spend a lot of time on processing too.

Yes, exactly. If I make an tune without vocals I'm going to add lead elements that would only get in the way of a vocal. If we had done a collab instead I could've made an instrumental that actually works with vocals.

Yeah, it's wild that people just do that. I've had the opposite happen: people taking my tune and putting some vocals on top and releasing that without asking.
