I am a tiny bit worried about the possible consequences of AI in human sociology and culture at a massive scale, specially given the fact that we are still figuring out the impact that social media may have when started around 2 decades ago

To all autistic people in STEM. STEM needs you! Your unique perspective is most likely to challenge trends or the "common sense", both issues that can be damaging to innovation at times. Dont let social currency stuff tell you otherwise.
You are cool and needed!

With love,
Nai

As #hyposensitive, I feel like sensory stimuli can speed me up to the point that I cannot notice small social cues anymore. Atm I instinctively try to calm all that excitability in my brain by talking about something predictable in loop. It feels like a HPC with the fans at max speed #autism

Hyposensitive autistics exist. They may tend not to notice smells, tastes, or how much space they occupy, and they may need large movements or create sounds to self-regulate. It is not as visible on TV, but it exists. Without visibility, early identification is compromised. #Autism #HypoSensitive

#autismo

I watched the Documentary #InsideOurAutisticMinds and I couldn't be happier living in this era. I really recommend this. It shows different autistic experiences, with and without autonomy. I missed some hyposensitive autistic, but is still amazing. Go watch it!

I am Autistic and I am Proudly Autistic. I have to mask my autistic traits in this world to fit the rigidity that comes with lack of knowledge and I will do that to have well-being, as there is no perfect solution. But I am Autistic and I am still Proud. Hugs everyone!

One of the reasons I stand for DEI policies is that diversity and inclusion favour more variety of ideas (diversity) shared and listened among peers with respect (inclusion). This can create unusual solutions and anticipate problems one may not detect.

People can process information differently, which directly affects communication, learning and what definition people choose for "common sense". If one style priotizes quickness to the cost of precision and other priorizes precision to the cost of speed, that shouldnt affect belonging. Peace!

I think this is a nice resource for figurative communicators/thinkers that want to understand literal communicators/thinkers. I don't agree with everything, but is still nice. www.wikihow.com/Get-Along-Wi...

We live in a #neurodiverseworld and that's amazing. However, we lack understanding of our own neudiversity and as a group tend to be rigid in our expectations. I hope some day society becomes less ignorant of this. Maybe then there will be less reasons to mask, overcompensate and/or isolate for some

Some people have a figurative communication style and others have a literal communication style. They are different and they are equally valid. However, it can lead to communication being difficult for both sides and segregation. Learning a bit of both communication styles could help.

Do not understand why people separate mental health and physical health so much, they are freaking siblings. One fails, the other does too.

Examples below.

Kinda cool this works based on servers, like the fediverse. I was looking for information about the difference between bluesky and the fediverse. Does someone know? (Will post if I find a good video explaining it)
