I joined the police 45 years ago and served for 30 years. This was the shit we faced then and now we’re back in the same place. I ‘managed’ to succeed in the job achieving chief inspector and did that without a ‘strapping man’ by my side. 😡

Education is the key but it’s not an either/or choice. Your responses sound a bit judgy and seem to ignore the possibility that people may be infected despite thinking they were safe. Prevention has many angles. Do you really think the NHS would do this without weighing up the financial benefits?

Just replace everything you said with ‘a person of colour’ and see how it reads. Trans women have been quietly going about their lives until people like you decided to persecute them over some imagined and exaggerated issues. You are the ones not seeing everyone as people.

That doesn’t represent all women either. Such generalisations are not helpful. Why do so many transphobes plump for such binary arguments? I’m in the live and let live camp and recognise the shades of grey in our not black and white world
