🔸if I'm giving a talk that day, block off an hour (anytime) before
🔸treat alone-time like a meeting (don't be late 😉)

These funds are used to support labs and staff and researchers- they're what make our work viable. This cut is a huge blow to science advancement.

The AHRQ website went down for 24 hours and when it came back up, two of our reports were taken down (algorithms impacting disparities, and implicit bias training on patient safety outcomes). The censorship is real.

Differences in disease prevalence and treatment response by race are NOT *because of* race.
If trends showed people from NJ (like me!) had different responses would you treat them all differently or figure out why (social, economic, genetic factors). This line of reasoning is dangerous (3/3)

Race-based medicine is antiquated, deepens disparities and has limited applicability to our fastest growing group in the US- those with mixed racial & ethnic background. We cannot go backward. (2/3)
