The last guy to do something similar was Harper but he did it all wrong. He got rid off all low payed term and casual employees.. that’s who does the lion share of the work. So services suffered. He should have gotten rid of the excess of high paid upper level management .

There are 367k public service workers.. Getting rid of 40,000 sounds about right.. can be done by not replacing those that are retiring, restructuring jobs to eliminate duplication.. lots can be done to reduce upper management. Right now we have too many chiefs supervising low entry staff.
