Dara O’Briain was the ideal after dinner speaker at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition Gala Dinner on Saturday night. A very funny man but more relevantly someone who has a passion for Science.

It was Michael D Higgins final visit as President of Ireland and he shared a special moment with Dr Tony Scott before his opening remarks at the 61st Young Scientist and BT’s 25th as sponsor and organiser. We presented the President with a photo album of all his visits in his 14 year tenure.
