Happy Winter Solstice! This is my recent oil painting of the Neolithic landmark Newgrange. Most Americans have heard of Stonehenge in England, probably because they have watched Spinal Tap. But they don’t know about Ireland’s 5,200 year old Newgrange, which predates Stonehenge by centuries.
