I understand being against Elon, but don’t demonize the cars. Just because you own one doesn’t mean you support him.
Just think, climate activists who once championed Tesla will be potentially forcing me to drive my F350 Diesel full time. Just to avoid harassment.

Strange world we live in.

Changing the hubs, rotors, and brake pads on the Tesla. These are the old parts.

Took out the frunk, jacked up the car, took off the tries. Replaced the upper suspension part.

A good thread on how batteries have come down in price. It’s basic math that if batteries and other things come down in price then obviously it makes other products will be less expensive, such as electric vehicles or doing solar power.
1/ Let’s break this down for a moment. At $65 a kw that means 3 days of battery storage for the average USA household.

$5200 in batteries.

In 3 years you’ll pay $6200 for power.

Putting an appropriate sized pack for a house.
Incidentally I can buy batteries right now at $65 a kw when it was sky high comparatively in 2013 when I got my Tesla.

This is a moment of excitement for battery storage and battery devices or cars. That the cost will drop well below ICE. That’s when the BEV becomes guaranteed better buy.

My husband @stealthwater.bsky.social bought his early on in 2013 and design by the original founders of Tesla that had a great vision. We keep it and continue to fix it ourselves because we love the car for it capabilities, not because we support Elon.

Seeing how these toxic gasses move through the kitchen and end up all around house is horrible. We really need to move away from using gas appliances.
