Actually now that I think about it, it's crazy so many colleges think their squirrels are special, but I can't think of a single college sports team named after them.

When I was 16 I went to Arkansas Governor's School at Hendrix College (as mentioned on the page) and people wouldn't shut up about the squirrels

The art students had a contest to design a shirt for AGS 2013 and the winner prominently featured a squirrel

It drove me crazy "They're just squirrels!"
