My jaw dropped when I saw the premium increase for my individual plan. And unfortunately I do not have the luxury of simply canceling it and keeping my fingers crossed, otherwise I would.

Even an AI will tell you this is an absolutely terrible idea.

Where we are as a country: The sitting president is posting racist memes about a predecessor—likely to distract from the fact that his former criminal defense attorney is meeting with a convicted sex trafficker in hopes she’ll somehow exonerate him.

Just sayin’…

In fairness, if there is one thing on which JD Vance is a resident expert it is, undoubtedly, smugly spreading stories that are complete and utter bullshit.

It looks like Woke Grok is back (for now, at least).

I caught it doing the same thing yesterday with immigration data.

It is flatly inaccurate to call these rounds “non-lethal.”

It’s wild the things Grok says about Musk when pressed hard enough. This was in response to a prompt asking why it hedges about Elon’s direct links to white supremacist propaganda based on his hollow public denials but would not do the same for a question about David Duke.

When the incompetence and deceit is so undeniably glaring that you’ve lost Tomi Lahren.

Columbia University claims, absent a warrant, federal law enforcement agents are only permitted access to university buildings in exigent circumstances.

Apparently exigencies now include students w/ green cards who simply express viewpoints disfavored by the Trump administration.

Takes two seconds, guys. Let’s get @joshweil.bsky.social to the House.

Major party donors or strategists leaving the country in response to democratic erosion or potential targeting under Trump would have been considered hyperbole or hysteria—including by many liberals—even six months ago. Hard to believe this is where we are at.

Literally the number two story right now. It’s such a joke.

In an unexpected development, Elon Musk calls for the impeachment of Aileen Cannon, Matthew Kacsmaryk, and James Ho.

The Trump administration is importing new Republican voters.

He lacks even a basic reserve of knowledge about how government operates or various agencies are funded.

It's genuinely astonishing.

CFPB is funded outside of congressional appropriations w/ an inflation-adjusted spending cap.

As I suspect most here know, there’s literally nothing to return.

Must-read commentary on impact and overreach of NIH funding cuts—which have metastasized beyond even the restrictive recommendations in Project 2025—from former HHS general counsel:

In the event there was any lingering confusion: DOGE hiring and retaining overt racists is central to the organizational mission, not merely incidental oversight.

Difficult to gauge whether the administration considers the “very bad things” to be ending apartheid or denying Starlink a license to operate in South Africa, but it’s relatively clear that the US is now in the business of crafting foreign policy aligned with Elon Musk’s personal grievances.

This might actually get Gen Z out in the streets.
