Like their offer for Naylor!

I think he’d only played 30 games there previously.

I assume Donovan will play some 3B and some 2B while Young and Emerson find their footing. And fill in if either gets sent down for more seasoning.

For 6 weeks he hit MLB pitching pretty well before nagging injuries stopped his progress. He may struggle some more but could very well improve if his pattern in MILB holds in Seattle. Also, Jerry seems pretty bullish on giving Colt Emerson the chance to play 3B to start the year.

Replacing Bovino with Homan is like taking a dump in your shorts, then changing your shirt.

I’d bet Tong will be in the rotation sometime in ‘26

At least, with Brady and Belichick gone, that possibility now exists!

Imagine if he had actually played the 4.75 seasons he missed, during his physical peak, while serving in 2 different wars!

Every conceivable metric should like someone named McLaughlin better than everyone else. Not to mention, people named Sean…no matter how you spell it!

Because any other choice would be silly. Payton will get votes but nobody likes him!

Southern Cal and Seattle may be in the same time zone but, atmospherically, they are worlds apart!

Isn’t turkey the universal term for when something is terrible?

Baloney. Intangibles aren’t measurable. It’s foolish to say that they are more important. Also, Judge missed some games this season. The Yankees were not good without him. How do we Seattle fans know about Judge’s intangibles? We don’t watch him closely like we do Cal.

Except Cal did not play elite defense this season.

It’s a trade, chief. Skubal’s final year of arbitration is ‘26. Seattle could easily absorb the $ he will get next season. Especially if they can trade Castillo and a decent portion of his contract. I doubt they’d sign him afterwards, though

That’s what I thought. Then, 2 weeks later, I had skin cancer removed from my hand and ear and the dressing on my ear looked WAY too much like that of these goobers!

Nolan McLean and Hurston Waldrep weren’t up long enough but their performances were very good.

Kupp is out. Maybe for quite awhile.

Yeah. The Dodgers. If it hadn’t been Toronto, Seattle would be in the series.
