The brain breaking comment is more about the people that went off the deep end with conspiracy and anti-science.
But COVID today is not remotely what COVID was. It has morphed into a much lower risk illness, as "Spanish" Flu did over time. To say we are still in the thick of it is disingenuous.

Never said people shouldn't. Some continue to wear masks and 1000% more power to them. I was still wearing masks into early 2022. At the very least use it to catch your spit when you are sick as a courtesy to others.

That is extreme. COVID has morphed into a very different thing today. It'll be with us forever but that era of masks, swabbing and more is in the rearview.
