Writing annotations might be the hardest part of grad school. I have to read two books per month, and turn in one annotation for each book. It’s not easy to write about a book you enjoyed without saying it was just good or bad.

I’m never saying I’m ahead of schedule again. I thought I had my schoolwork done, so I read books for fun and focused on my art for weeks. Now, I’m rereading the required books and annotating the shit out of them so I can write them up and turn it in. Thanks, I hate it. #gradschool #mfa #antioch
