I do like how you can pick out how much of a negative impact Domi has on the team. That will only amplify when the Big Loser Energy comes out of him tonight. You're so much better playing Dewar or someone instead.

It's not that big of a deal, but I don't like the Leafs rolling into game one with line combos that haven't been tested much in the regular season.

One thing of note (probably not) is that there are slightly more hits on the NHL.com team table than there are on Evolving Hockey. Most teams have a handful of additional hits. This is probably due to adjustments well after a game is completed. This doesn't affect things all that much.

Something that was pointed out to me was that hits are down this season about 5% or 0.2 per 60 on an individual level. Last season we had a big hit "audit" in the middle of the season. I wonder if we will get one again.

I mean even before it leaves the offensive zone, he doesn't recognize that he has F3 above him, F2 in good position, and the new puck carrier on the wall bobbles it. He essentially concedes the zone.

I don't remember who said it, but recently someone said it felt like there were more outliers in shooting percentage than usual. Looking at season-by-season Sh% kurtosis (measurement of tail thickness), it would appear the frequency of outliers has been increasing since covid for forwards.
