Trying to talk to my parents about being a woman, being trans, being gay, but none of these are interesting topics to them and that's 90% of what's on my mind. Even having a new face just gets a brief mention.

I'm doing fine. Just venting and feeling like a 3 day trip might have preserved my relationship with my parents better than a whole week.

Getting called he 30 times a day feels like gaslighting. "Am I woman enough?" I ask myself while the lady I just met on the airplane complains about her husband with an intimacy I couldn't have imagined from a stranger 5 years ago.
