We didn't have cable tv until 2005. As a kid I missed out on Nickelodeon's heydays, MTV before it became a reality show channel, and Tales From the Cryptkeeper. But I had my basic network shows being fed through a antenna I constantly had to adjust, but I loved it. I miss late 80s & early 90s tv

It was a few years ago I had to do it, back when I still lived in the parents' house, but damn it still haunts me.

I think that America needs to learn that it doesn't need to be "the greatest country in the world". Just be a country that treats its citizens fairly. We can simply work towards that after we get Drumpf out. Be average. Americans had way too big egos anyway.

We can start by doing what Germany did after WW2. Invest in education, eliminate poverty, healthcare for all, and stop treating going to a psychiatrist as a mark of shame. Also make hatespeech a crime (using common sense to define it). Throwing a Nazi salute in Germany can get you arrested.

That's my biggest fear. That the military will murder everyone on orders. From that point, we will no longer be salvageable as a country. I'm scared for the future and I hate feeling this way.
