Created a new LevelHead level! Goal was to make the most challenging level in the smallest space possible. I call it a success :)

I've created entire worlds in Unreal Engine, but there is something so much more magical about creating your first 3d cube on your own with just OpenGL and C++

Watched Cloverfield (2008) again and I didn't expect it to hold up so well. Still a great movie to this day.

Nice to watch a movie with deep blacks and colors again compared to so many digital dull movies today. No One Will Save You (2023) a recent example of the dull slop pushed out nowadays.

I'll never forget that devs from one of my favorite games ever (Spin Rhythm XD) not only allowed us to include stickers of their game, they actually played OUR game and made this staircase of puzzle pieces leading up to the stickers!

One of the coolest things to happen. Thanks @superspin.digital

Here is a wip progress concept (create back in 2011). As usual real life happened and had to be abandoned.

Some things like the idea for an in game music player did make it's way over to Jigsaw Puzzle Dreams at least.

Anyone else getting tired of the dullness of modern movies?

Recently watched "No One Will Save You" and while I liked the movie the non-contrast of everything really made everything that much duller.

Like where are the dark shadows?

One of the biggest (and ongoing) challenges is Jigsaw Puzzle Dreams is that every single piece is a unique shape.

Duplicating a mesh (Starfield 100 potatoes) is easy, but creating 1,000/20,000+ custom meshes is not.

The math for this jigsaw puzzle game would blow your mind 🤯

Funny you mention this.
I recently decided to replay Splinter Cell and the look of hard shadows is so distinct, something we don't get anymore with more realistic soft shadowing.
