So probably the most important update for anyone who is following me is we have 3 dogs now. Radon is currently at the teenage ugly stage of German shepherd development. Those ear floofs will ensure no one will ever takes her seriously. Especially if I add streamers.

Just posting to share that my heart still beats even if I'm mostly brain-dead. Due to an absence of executive function, a surplus of neurospice, never enough coffee, and general mom-brain, I have left a major work deadline disastrously close to the red line. Will resurface soon. Love ❤️

Cycle breaking is hard. Some days, it's therapy and parenting classes. Other days, it's refusing unsupervised access to your kids. Today, it was walking away when boundary setting was met with abuse. Today my son learned that self-love includes disconnecting from toxic loved ones. It ends with me.

I had a wonderful mom date with a friend recently. No kids or spouses, ate elk, and finally got to see a bucket list artist, ᐃᐢᑫᐧᐤ (iskwē). This was hands down the most powerful show I've ever seen, and hard to put into words. It was entirely soul-clensing and cathartic. Please show her some love.

Whelp, just went through a hellish few days to remind me once again that chosen family is the best family. Remember kids, as you head into the holiday season, don't put up with shit from anyone. Especially your blood. If your family sucks, make your own. Demand better. Internet mom says so.

Date night with my mate <3 reliving our twenties by rocking out at an industrial club night. Different dive bar, same scene & tunes to give my docs a proper stomping. We danced the night away with friends new and old, crawling into bed shortly before dawn.

My new foster puppy. She's a sweet, driveless potato, but she's incredibly smart. I've challenged myself to take a completely unsocialized shelter stray and train her to be a disability service dog in a few weeks. Her name is unfortunate, I'm stubbornly calling her Tater.

Just banned from a local family group on FB for (respectfully) calling out a charitable event for helping children from intact traditional families only. They exclude LGBTQ+, single parents, blended families, guardians & ORPHANS. Meeting with media and venue later today. Fuck with mamawolf, get bit.

Prepping for my tradition of camping for my bday. Solo. With my baby, 6yo, and 2 K9s. *packs extra caffeine*
Throwback to the last birthday I was truely solo camping. It was my last backpacking trip as I was 4m pregnant. Not quite so wild with family this year, planting seeds of adventures to come.
