The difference in communication about Tr*mp’s recent EO from where I currently study (image 1) and where I currently teach (and where the population of vulnerable Ss is much larger; image 2) makes my stomach hurt.

I also want to reinforce that there is no place for hate, bias, or harassment at Antioch University. I encourage you to review our policies on harassment and hate speech in the Employee Conduct Code Policy 4.601 and Student Conduct Policy_6.103. Every member of the Antioch community belongs here. We will not tolerate hate or harassment in any form. Potential DEIB considerations The current administration's efforts to eliminate support for any DEl initiative may limit our ability to support these sorts of initiatives, if the administration suggests that an institution receiving financial support for its operation cannot directly or indirectly support DEl initiatives. Other areas that may be impacted on college campuses include gender identity (with the Federal Government only interested in references to biological sex and not gender identity). This may require adjustments to our various information systems (banner, navigate, targeX, salesforce) as well as data collection forms. We have seen this agenda carried out in states with a more reactionary political climate.
