I wish streaming services wouldn't avoid features. I understand that streaming is a money pit but that doesn't mean it needs to be. Justify the spend and take a chance on something different than the "overwhelm them with options" model.
🙋♂️ I'm available to hire but I work remote 😜

Even more bonus points if you let users apply filters to the stream that emulate things like:
- vintage tv overscan effects
- vhs buffering glitches
- chromatic aberration, edge blur, vignetting

I repeat, do not fill the flex space with ads unless they are retro ads or *extremely* relevant to the theme of the channel (e.g. get your tickets to see Star Wars Starfighter in theaters May 28!)
Same stream for every user so friends can "watch together" without issues. Same as TV

No, the existing channels on D+ are not good enough. Fuck the news and sports are not what I'm talking about. I want to be able to simply jump into possibly forgotten content that I know and love.
The channels should be stable and always available. I do not want to open the app to see

Before you get too excited, no, this is not an opportunity to show more ads.
I do not need the ability to pause, rewind, etc.
Bonus points if you let me or curators create custom channels and share them (e.g. Best of Star Wars TV)
