I've always secretly wondered whether single- or double-blind review was better. One of the problems I still have with either method is that we often don't get to see the commentary made by reviewers after publication. I think this is another aspect that should be considered.

Yes! I didnt do this for my first R project and now I heavily document my code for every project. This is more so OSF users know exactly what I did, rather than punishing them with mazes of decontextualized code. RMarkdown is naturally good for this too.

Thats pretty cool. I definitely find the typing of case_when() cumbersome, so this would be a nice workaround.
