Well obviously. Don't get me wrong, I'm also against this, but this is what every other tech company is doing nowadays, which is milking AI, because they had to do the same to not fall "behind", even if they know that many people will not like it

Well telemetry was already a thing you had to manually opt out from before which affected privacy, yet I didn't see as much fuss about it as it was with the AI thing now. Even then, forks are going to disable it by the default anyways, and nobody is forcing you to use normal Firefox

Because you'd want people to try out your features. The average person even if not anti-AI would probably not bother with manually opting-in, especially if the option is hidden in the settings
